James Lee

I am James Lee, an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Connecticut College, where I teach and mentor undergraduate students in computer science, creative technologies, and interactive media. My work brings together computer graphics, visualization, virtual environments, games, and media art, with a strong focus on making technology both expressive and human-centered. As a researcher, educator, and artist, I create projects that connect computation with creativity. My work spans interactive installations, visual computing, immersive experiences, and student-centered research, often exploring how digital systems can shape perception, embodiment, and communication. Through both scholarship and artistic practice, I am interested in building meaningful experiences that sit at the intersection of technology, design, and art.
